About ChairCycle
Founded in Alkmaar, The Netherlands, ChairCycle is a circular furniture company dedicated to giving iconic children’s chairs a new life. Since 2020, we have given more than 500 chairs a second life from our workshop in Alkmaar.
Through careful restoration, craftsmanship and considered design, we transform pre-owned chairs into refined pieces made to be enjoyed for years to come.
Our approach is built around a simple belief: quality should not be discarded when it can be renewed.
Each chair is individually selected, restored and refinished in Alkmaar, combining its original character with a contemporary ChairCycle finish.
By extending the life of existing furniture, ChairCycle offers an alternative to unnecessary replacement — preserving what is already well made and preparing it for a new generation.

Disclaimer
All chairs offered by ChairCycle are pre-owned, original chairs that have been independently restored and redesigned by ChairCycle.
They are not brand-new products. Each chair has previously been used and may therefore show minor signs of its previous life or small variations resulting from the restoration process.
ChairCycle is an independent business and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Stokke AS. Stokke and Tripp Trapp are trademarks of their respective owner.
Our work consists of carefully selecting, restoring, refinishing and redesigning existing chairs to extend their usable life and give them a renewed appearance.
